if i snap at your or what not.
i am going through a hard time.
my barn friend recently moved to kentucky. as in like, yesterday.
and she told me in december...i was so not ready for that.
she was going to help me get a horse this year, but now she is gone.
she is also the owner of lucy, and a mare i wanted to buy mona.
and i get to see most of the horses in kentucky this summer, so its not so bad...
but mona is for sale.
her owner doesn't want to use her as a broodmare because they would rather see her shown, and she got really rude over the last two months.
worst part is...i will probably never see mona again.
since she didn't sell up here in minnesota , she is probably going to get bought in kentucky. which just pisses me off.
its like, my lesson teacher who is at a new barn now, knew how much she meant to me. she mentioned it to my friend, but my friend couldn't sell her to me since i don't have the money, and she is a great horse.
it just sucks, and i am practically crying typing this.
she was the best mare for me.
she knew everything, but she had her stupid moments of course.
and she was a big challenge since she was abused in her last home.
her old owners used her for barrels and had the spurs dug into her every moment, so she is side sensitve.
and they also jerked up on the girth while saddling her, and the little kids do it too, so any time you go near her side, she snaps at you...
well i got her through that and she takes it nicely now, and every crabby bone in her body is gone because i used t-touch that i got from a book on her. i had never seen her so happy.
i pretty much trained her in 3 lessons and we taught eachother.
god i am going to miss that girl.
